You have to open a new Data project in Visual Basic then drag a Combo control, two ADO Data controls and one CommandButton to the form which will be add in the project.

You have to set the Style property by choosing one of this option.

Then you have to set ConnectionString property of ADO Data control which is need to connect with Nwind.mdb database then you have to identify a Products table in Nwind.mdb database as a RecordSource.

Then you have to set the connection string property of ADO then connect to database and set the properties of the Data combo which are given below

DataSource - ADODC1

DataField - SupplierID

RowSource - ADODC2

ListField - CompanyName

BoundColumn - SupplierID

Now you can copy and paste the below given code in to the Click event of the CommandButton

   MsgBox DataCombo1.BoundText

To get resolve runtime error 7  run the VB project then click on the drop-down button of the Data Combo control then click on the CommandButton then you can see "Summary" section and you have to stop the execution of the project and return to the VB project.

You have to declare a string variable which will be set by the name of BoundText then copy and paste the below given code in to the Click event procedure of Data Combo

                                               

    BoundText = DataCombo1.BoundText

Then you have to change in the section of the MsgBox statement of Command Button. You have to try this above given steps again till the error message does not occur in your System. I have fix my pc runtime issue by this steps and i got the solution of this error.
